My car is a '99 malibu and I want to get it painted Nighthawk Black Pearl.

Yes, they might do a better job than the local paint shop. The students will sand it and paint it. You will find that the sanding the car by hand, GOOD, is the key element on a good paint job. My brother had a $700 red paint job on a 96 Hyandai and one year later the paint started to chip. Those places just barely sand it. But the school sounds like a winner and save big bucks too.

They would be working on it as part of their class and would probably be graded on it. They'd have to get it right and you should only have to buy the paint, if you have to pay for anything.

no one can say for sure unless they went thru that class with that teacher. but the classes i took were very strict on stuff like that so if this teacher is really teaching his/her students something then usually the job they do is fantastic. but like i said depends on how much the teacher is willing to teach and not just pass. hope it turns out ok since it sounds like your going for it anyway.

yes they do a way better job on it my cuzin in a class that does it and they painted on thier friends integra and it came out extremely good looking
