Plastic decal (sign) I put on a year ago. want to remove it without scraping the paint. Top layer just peeled off but bit attached to vehicle won't budge.

i have changed the diesel filter , also filled the filter with diesel, but the car will not start, i think it may be airlocked, is it safe to bleed from the point where the diesel is injected into cylinder, or is there something else i have forgotten to do

my car starts fine but after running for 5 minutes i can turn it off and it will crank up but if i put it in neutral and give it a slight push on the pedal it dies i did this with a friend and he killed the engine like i said above and when it died we could smell gas coming from the throttle body we waited a while after making sure there were no leaks in the lines or anywhere and did it again did the same thing with the gas smell im thinking its flooding itself or could the choke be sticking it is a geo metro and i think they have chokes if its flooding out then how do i fix it

Some dumb kids knocked off the right and left mirrors on my 96 corsica. Is there something out there to use in reattaching these?
Also the actual glass mirror broke on one of them, should I buy a whole new one, or can I buy just the glass seperate and attach it?

I am looking for good car carpets which are cheap. I went to walmart this evening, it indeed had much variety there but I didnt find the one which I liked.

I am not looking for rubber mats.

Please refer me to some of the auto stores other then walmart.

I drive a 1986 Chevy Blazer S10 with a 2.8 liter TBI engine. I have been experiencing mysterious changes in how much power the engine puts out, and a dead spot in the trottle just above 2000 rpm. I have had it die during standing start acceleration. I cant seem to pinpoint the problem, but it feels like it is starving for fuel. Anybody having the same problem?

My 97 chevy cavalier has been having a hot smell come from the driver's side front above tire under the hood. The engine has been running about 75% hot. The coolant light came on twice but only for a brief second when I was turning a curve to fast. What should I do, does this simply mean my coolant is low? Thanks!

I have a ford fairmont 1996 model and its on gas recently got lpg serviced ,yesterday I filled the lpg tank and when i started the car the needle showed that its full after 2min when i started the car again it showed that the tank is empty , i checked the pressure needle at the back of the cylinder and it also showed zero pressure ,in order to check that wheather the needle is working or not i switched to petrol and it showed the right quantity in the tank. Its seems very strange that where did the gas go in two min . lpg in the tank is in a lot of pressure it should have given some hissing sound if there is any leak , Please help me as I ve wasted 24 $ without driving the car.

When the gas pedal is hit when enetering the highway the RPMs surge wierdly. Then the cra switches gears and it doesn't happen again. Also When going up hills it will do the same thing. The car only has 22000 mile on it. What is the problem?

i pushed my engine to get out, both in reverse and in drive. i didnt push it too hard but i guess hard enough to where the engine light came on, what could be the problem and could it be serious?

My problem started with a main bearing that needed replaced and through the process I replaced alot of parts. New crankshaft, piston rings, heads, all gaskets, oil pump (gears), water pump, spark pugs and wires, oil pressure sensor, new oil and filter. Too much $. Now she'll start and run good, except the oil pressure. At the initial start it will be around 60 or a little lower but after the car warms up it will drop to 35 or so. If you drive for 30-45 min the oil pressure will read in the red 0. Also when I sit at a stop light she'll act like she wants to die but won't. We have checked over everything. Could it be a wrong crankshaft meaning not enough clearance, or the piston rings, or maybe timing? The big issue is the oil pressure. We've had to pull this engine apart a couple times and are getting tired of it. We are doing the work our self. If you have any suggestions, please let me know. I know its hard without actually seeing the car or hearing it but anythings worth a try.
