Start by checking out the vehicles suspension. Wheel balance tires, brake, shocks, struts etc. Chances are your problem is in that area.

Well it could be a few things tires out of balance, bad u-joint, bad struts or shocks front end alignment, just put the OLD GIRL to rest and buy a new one if you can afford it.

i would get the front ball joints checked if i were you it will make the steering wheel wobble and feel like rough road and like tires are out of balance

is the car shaking or the engine?if its the car itself then it could be in need of alighnment,a tire needs balanced,bad struts or if its the engine,it could be 1 of the sensors,like idle air control,throttle position sensor or you could have gotton water where you got your gas.

possibly it could be your tyres are out of balance or need to be replaced due to flat spots or it could be bent axles due to burn outs or worn bearings which could lead to your wheel falling off,but first i would get the tyres checked
