If a Seat has a Jag engine in it it was not put in by SEAT. SEAT is part of the VW group with it base in Spain. At one time it was part of a consolidation of Seat, FIAT, Peugot and Renault. And depending upon what year of seat you have it may have one of the other engines. Most Seats had Seat or FIAT engines in them until the group was taken over by VW. The easiest way to find out is to check the data plate on the engine.

Early SEATs were Fiat-based, and had Fiat engines.
From 1985 the first-generation Ibiza, the Malaga and the Ronda P had "System Porsche" engines of 1.2, 1.5 and 1.7-litre capacities, which were unique to SEAT. 900cc versions of the Ibiza still had Fiat engines.
The original Toledo in 1990 was the first SEAT developed after Volkswagen bought SEAT, and used VW engines. Every new SEAT model since has used VW-group engines, although occasionally in a slightly different specification from those used by the other main VW-group brands (Volkswagen, Audi and Skoda).
Jaguar is owned by Ford, and some of its engines are related to those used in other Ford products, including those in Land Rovers and Aston Martins. The diesel engines are part of a joint venture with PSA, so are related to those found in PSA's products (Peugeots and Citroëns).

in case you get a 2hp,2.5hp, or 3hp outboard engine she gained't ought to emphasize about or deal with a gasoline caddy. those outboard engines all have indispensable gasoline tanks and are effective sufficient to do the interest you require. besides the undeniable fact that, your spouse, her daughters and associates all must be schooled in the thanks to row because engines destroy down. It perhaps that the engine breaks down after their sail, so that they may well be stranded on the mooring. would I advise that the type of small dinghy ought to in trouble-free terms be used to move 2 people at anybody time (with some equipment) and they continually placed on a lifejacket at the same time as transiting between crusing vessel and shore. If more beneficial than 2 people are going to the boat, then the dinghy ought to make more beneficial than one holiday.

If I remember rightly, Seat is a subsidiary of Volkswagen. They have many different models and engines.

Presumably, it's an INTERNAL COMBUSTION ENGINE, - otherwise, it ISN'T a CAR, at all, - just a damned EXPENSIVE ORNAMENT!
