Well, sorry there isn't a "Choke" as we're used to calling them in the throttle body.
The throttle body injection unit on your car has only 1 injector in the top of it and if you are smelling fule coming out of that monsterous 1.6L engine then you might as well figure on , 1a tps,
2 possible new injector or throttle body for the little beast. there are adjustments for the air fuel ratio on those but if you don't know what your doing its easy to mess them up . The TPS on most of those is adjustable and it is not too hard to do.
The easiest way to check your injector is to take your timing light and with the engine running shine it down the throttle body.
it will show you the spray pattern of the fuel. or lack there of.

Haynes Manual
What you do is get the Haynes Repair Manual for your Year and model of vehicle at Auto Zone, or another automotive repair shop. The manual will show you what and how to do the repairs.

Otherwise, I would say put higher octane in the car and get a tune up. The gas is not being burned one hundred percent. But the book will help a lot.
