I am driving a 1995 Honda Accord 2.00 and recently experienced some more than usual misting up on the interior windows. I found that the radiator had a leak so it was replaced with a new unit.I thought that the leak was possibly the cause of the misting.
Unfortunately this appears noy to be so . In spite of the new radiator the misting up is still happening. The rear window seems to be affected the most. Has anyone got any ideas as to what could be causing this problem and what would be the solution.

i have a 1994 GMC suburban diesel K2600, 6.5L Turbocharged Diesel V8 OHV 16V FI Engine.

for the past several years, it occasionaly will not start on the first key turn (after the warm up).

if i immediatly turn the key again (no waiting) it will start and the "start" will sound normal.

abouth a year ago, i discovered that sometimes i would have to turn the key several times very quickly to get it to start.

it has never "not started."

I know that if it ain't broke don't fix it, but should i have it checked out. i dread being out somewhere with a car that won't start.

I took my car to my mechanic today and he said that my purge control solenoid is bad because its getting way too hot and not working correctly, which is causing lower mpg now.

I have a 1995 Honda Accord if that helps.

So what the fock is purge control solenoid?

I found the oil very milky and got started on the head gaskets.. Once replaced I ran a can of seafoam through the intake. Now it puffs out white smoke when warm, especially when starting from a stop or idling warm... Anything I can do to stop the smoke? The dipstick looks clean and there is very little condensation on the oil filler cap... Thanks, J

I have a bmw 530 diesel touring from 2001,with rear self level suspension and standard specs.
now I started to note that i need to replace them,i am just wondering if the brand shock absorbers its the best choice,or if it is better to opt to other brands.

I want the best confort in detriment of performance, I feel that the bmw standard absorbers give a harsh ride,i want something real confortable,I am thing in this brands: kony or bilstein, which are the best? and inside any of this brands, which range product should I opt?

thanks

I've posted a few time but the status keeps updating.

I just got a new battery and alternater 1 month ago. I get power when I put in the key but just get a clicking sound. There was no indication of problems recently. There is a rare occasion about once a month or less when it won't start.

I was able to get my car jumped and it ran fine but seemed a bit noisy at first. Someone told me they think the serpentine belt seems loose and may be the issue.

Any suggestions? Car is a 97 Olds LSS

Another vehicle scratched the door of my car so that the metal shows. I can use touch up paint, but usually, that becomes quite apparent and can be distracting.

Other than repainting the whole door, is there another option?

I guess that I need to have the radiator replaced on my '92 Honda Civic, which otherwise works just fine. I'm not sure, though, that I trust the mechanic that I've recently worked with (I somehow get the feeling that he may be taking me to the cleaners). I know NOTHING about cars or auto repair, so any info/tips on how to save money (or how to find a trustworthy mechanic) would be greatly appreciated. Many thanks!

I asked a perfectly polite question, specified I had no place to hand wash the car, and got several extremely rude replies. To those few who actually helped, thank you. I will never use this service again. And, Happy New Year.

I had my car running to start the defrost and it started overheating. I tried to turn it off but it started jumping. When I opened the hood, it spewed antifreeze everywhere. The guys who were helping me, said it was the radiator hose. Are they right? It was a 1985 chevy celebrity. and If it is the radiator hose, is it driveable to my house (about 5 miles)

My husbands car was leaking gasoline, and his clothes really have the strong smell of gas. He probably touched his carseats too, so they smell.

On my manual transmission car,
if I step heavily on the gas, or suddenly let it up,
for a second or so the speed is somewhat bouncy,
as if a spring or something is absorbing and releasing
the torque.

Is there something that can be tightened to reduce this effect?
