Have 85,000 miles on 2000 Mustang. Just installed new tires and no improvement on vibration. Had transmission overhauled a few months ago. Car handles well, no accidents, no tire wear on old tires so believe alignment is acceptable.

Hi.. I have a 2000 Mitsubishi Galant V6 car. For the past 1 week, whenever the tachometer goes to around 1500 rpm the car shakes/vibrates. When i increase the speed or decrease the shaking stops..Honestly i am not able to tell if its the wheels or the engine. I know i have to take it to a mechanic, my only fear is that if this is a simple problem and i am not aware of it then the mechanic might try to take advantage and jack up the bill. So any help /advice would be greatly appreciated.

when I drive my 96 ford contour, every so often the battery light will come on for a few seconds and then turn off. The alternator is the original and has been checked but is not the problem so they say. There is also a small drain in my battery that will completely drain it in 3 days. Are these two related? Could it be a short in a wire somewhere?

Hi. This is my first convertible. I have a "touchless" car wash nearby but afraid to use it - based on what I've read. I have no place to hand wash it - so, if anyone knows where I can take it in the Arlington/Falls Church, VA area, please let me know. Thanks.

I have a 2007 Chevy Cobalt and I was told it is hard to let it warm up in the morning before I drive it. I don't believe them, but of course curiosity killed the cat. Is it really hard on my car to let it warm up?

My friend said to just start it up and drive it (with care) until it warms up. Is this true?

The Guy at the garage where my 1995 Ford F150 XLT is at says my truck needs two parts.... an Ignition coil and a part called a Pick up that I guess is located inside the distributor.(Truck would not start up completely while it was raining out). He says it will cost me $400.00 for the parts and to have it done,.... does this sound like a right price?

Hello! I just changed new aftermarket brake pads on my 1997 Maxima. Then I heard weird noies from right rear everytime I hit brake. I went to an auto shop to check out the problem. The guy told me to change back to new original Nissan pads for 120 dollars. He said that may solve the problem. But not guarantee. So should I go for it? Any comments are welcome. Thank you.

It starts making noise after it's been running for about 20 minutes. It doesn't make any noise when in reverse.
