Sounds like you have only the Valet key. This key can be given to the valet at hotels and resturants so they cannot access the glove box and trunk.
Since this is the only key you have you will have to see a GM dealer to get new keys made. Should not be hard or overly exspensive, but you will have to prove ownership and provide a valid photo ID.

sounds like someone replaced the ignition ,but not the door locks. go to the dealer where the car was purchased .or call
locksmith.
