timing belt for a subaru?

Hi , im thinking of buying a 1998 subaru outback does anyone know if this has a timing belt or a timing chain?

Most definately has a timing belt and this is, if memory serves, an interference design engine. Therefore, finding out if the belt has been replaced (assuming the car is over 60k miles) is important.
