there is a clicking sound from the hazards it comes and goes what could that be?

Hazard warning lights often do make a louder tick than the indicators to remind you they're on. If they work ok I'd leave 'em alone & turn up the stereo!

I think it's a bi-metal strip.

Is this a y reg 1983 or 1999/2000 model?

if its a funny sounding tick, not the normal one, it is either a bulb has gone or the relay has gone. Quite common mine went too. £15.00 max.

you need to replace hazard switch as this is also the flasher unit

does it come when you put your hazzards on and go when they are off? If yes this would be your warning sign that your hazzards are on.....if not then I don't know........
