There are AC, DC, 120V, 120/240V, straight blade, twist lock and round pin plugs, each in several different flavors. Getting one wire in an AC plug wrong can blow out evry device in the vehicle and make the chassis hot, killing the first person who touches the RV.
In other words, if you have to ask, don't do it.

Wire it directly from the battery, Don't run it unless engine is running to keep the battery charged.
