Another vehicle scratched the door of my car so that the metal shows. I can use touch up paint, but usually, that becomes quite apparent and can be distracting.

Other than repainting the whole door, is there another option?

Spray will do the work, though you need the exact color.
The cost is prohibitive from this being a number one rip. The
small jobs is an area for body shop, if you shop and know a
reliable and fair person, I get this job for under 100. The big
deal at the dealership starts at 300.00 Not good. Doing it
requires wagner room sprayer, or that kind of equip if your
able to get the exact paint, it is the same age won't matter.
Paint costs about 5 bucks. Rent the sprayer, say local lawn shops. Prep stunt for say one square to
20 square inches is to prep with the usually body glaze for
a winter nick, just do a large nick. Paper out the area out
side of your strike zone, make sure it is say 80 degrees
warm up the room, and towel dock off drips. Use paper you
can get at a parts store for toweling drip.
