I have a 2001 Chevy Malibu LS. I have changed the wiper blades several times with no positive results, so it is not the blades. I have cleaned the windshield, so there is nothing on it (ie. wax). The spot on the windshield that is missed is right where I need to look through and it is very dangerous driving this way. I do a lot of freeway driving. Any ideas on what could be the trouble?

i'm not sure there is a solution to my problem, but i'm holding out hope :) so, a few months ago i accidentally locked my car with the clicker at the exact moment that i was pulling up on the handle to open one of the back doors. i heard a loud pop from the door, and have not been able to open the door from the outside since.

this was ok because i was still able to open the door from the inside. well, a few days ago a friend was taking a look at the door and in the process engaged the child safety lock and closed the door.

now i can't open it from the inside or outside. at all. any ideas? thanks!!!

I need to tow this truck with an 1800lb car trailer and I need to know if the combined weight will be more than my 1996 Chevy Tahoe 4WD can handle. I'm guessing about 5,000 lbs, but I wanna be sure. Someone told me to check the side panel, but that only gives me GVWR, the weight that the truck can handle. Please help. Thanks!

I have 1988 toyota 4runner with 22re engine. idle surges when warm, mpg decreased significantly (16 mpg/hwy), engine light on. Trouble codes show 'throttle position sensor-open/short' & 'knock sensor signal-open/short' & 'EGR system malfunc.-EGR gas temp below spec.'

I don't even know where to begin with these. I'd rather not put it in a shop and shell out the dough if I can do it myself. Any ideas??

I have a 2003 Tahoe. I was letting it run because it has been cold and I have not driven it in a while. I was stupid and forgot about it, and the truck ran out of fuel and the battery died. Now it will not even turn over. Is there a reset for the fuel pump or anything I should check. Again, it is not turning over at all! Hope someone can help with this! Thanks!!!

It is recommended at 105,000 miles to have the following done. My question...is all of this necessary? Can I wait on some or all of the work? Will it affect my car if I do wait? It seems to be running just fine now.

Change spark plugs, engine coolant, brake fluid replaced, tire balanced, calipers checked and recalibrated, tires rebalanced.

I turned the jeep up onto a narrow ramp and caught the Jeep body behind the front right wheel on a ramp guardrail. It tore off a good 4inches of the body.

This is not my car - someone else will be taking it in for an estimate, but I will be paying the repair cost.

I have never owned a car. I know this is a nice expensive vehicle. I'm trying to find out what I'm in the hole for, before it surprises me.

I currently own a 02' pontiac firehawk. Current mods are long tube headers, underdrive pulleys, borla catylic converter, custom tune programmer, TNT nitrous system "setup to 100 shot." My current problem is when i accelerate light on the pedal it hesitates. A better description would be it lags a lil but only does it sometimes. The check engine light comes on, but doesnt blink. I was thinking that it could be the O2 sensors, but the guy who did my custom tune deleted my codes for that so it wouldnt pick it up. After driving it a day or two, the light went away and is now up again. I just had the fuel filter replaces 2 weeks ago and the computer retuned. It started when i was driving in the rain, but dont know if it was caused by that. I keep thinking maybe its my wires, but i looked and cant see a spark when it's dark out. I dont really want to take it to a dealership, due to they would charge me an arm and a leg just to tell me they have no idea...any ideas...would be great. thanks

I have a 1996 Ford Taurus and it is in great condition. I have bought it recently and everything works fine. It stands out in the cold now (Chicago) and some of the snow melted off my car and some icicles formed on the bottom of the car around the headlight area. A green tint was on the icicle and I have a feeling that might be leaking from my engine. Anyone know what it could be?

OK. There is no crank and no start. We replaced the battery, and every so often, the interior and dash lights work, but still no crank and no start, even if being jumped. When being jumped, there is no change in my truck's power that we are jumping it with. I can hear the celinoid *pop*, but nothing. It was running with full power before one morning it was dead. A new motor was dropped into it a month ago, but when it was put in, the mechanic told the owner that the wiring harness from the old motor needed to be used, because the new one did not fit into the engine compartment. Why would a mechanic replace a wiring harness with an engine swap is beyond me, but whatever. We are stumped. I would say it's the starter, but for some reason, I am also leaning towards a wiring problem...........HELP!!

We are in freezing weather and when I rolled it down (automatic), I think it got stuck in one spot and it slid onto its side, so I just pulled it completely out. The glass is still completely in tact. Can I put it back in by myself? How would I go about doing it? If you can provide a how-to, I would be very grateful.

While dring my 1989 Chevy Blazer I heard a pop under the dash and the engine died. I discovered that a fuse had blown in the ECMB slot in the fuse box. I tried to replace the fuse but it blew before I could push it all the way into the slot. What is the ECMB? Where is it located? Is it In the engine compartment. I had washed the engine bay out about an hour before. Could that have caused my problem?

I wanted to know if there is anything I can do at home to tune my car. Let's say I were to drive it to the shop, is there any way I can tune it for driving there. I don't have anysoftware or tools really to tune it. Or should I TOW the car to the shop? To avoid problems from running to0 lean or some other problem. What do you think?
