A while ago, while back my truck out of a drive way, I backed into another truck that belonged to a friend of mine (we both had the same model). My bumper scraped the side of his car, near the area of the gas tank. There were white scratch marks, but since my truck was red and his was green, he thought there would be a red smear or at the very least there wouldn't be white marks since the bumper has no color. Basically, he thinks that someone else hit his car and not me because of the white smear (the car had to be white). Is there anyway I can prove that it was my car and nobody else's that backed into his? We both were driving Ford Rangers, I don't remember the year or model though.

The drivers front wheel keeps rattling when going over bumps on my 1993 GMC Safari van. The noise is tolerable, but annoys me at times. Could it be bad shocks?

so far i've charged
the battery, filled it with diesel & had the starting motor changed, checked the oil & water, can you help as I don't know anything about engines & am at the end of my teghther with all the bad luck I've had lately! It's freezing outside, I've got 5 kids & all n all it's a nightmare without transport! It's unbeleivabley hard work. I'd be really grateful of a reply in simple text that even a kid could understand as I'm not really in the know when it comes to these things, but I do know if I go to a garage I'll get ripped off as it's quite obvious how clueless & desprate I am to get this bus fixed. As I am really lost without my wheelz that I've come to love it gives me independance & makes my life alot easier.

System has been opened numerous times and has been vacuumed about 3 times and filled with Freon about 3X in last 7 years. What the heck is inside the tank anyway?

I have heard of people doing this so that it only costs 40 cents a gallon to drive your vehicle. An also heard it does absolutely no harm to your engine. Any truth to this?

My B18 engine on a 1990 acura integra GS has a blown head gasket. I oughta know if replacing the head gasket is good or having an engine swap is better. Also, I'm looking at the cost for both and the difference between the two were about $500USD. I'm trying to get my valve head taken out without taking the valves nor the spring. Is it necessary to remove the valves and spring when servicing the cylinder head? Also, thinking of getting the valve seals replace while getting my cylinder head gasket fixed. Is it necessary to replace the seals? Anybody know how much would it cost for all the above to get fixed?

I have a 96 Dodge Ram with a 318. Sometimes when I start it up it will not stay cranked. The check engine light came on so I took it to an Autozone and they put it on the computer and told me I needed a map sensor. I put a new one on and it still does the same thing. Any advice?

01 ford focus. the car is throwing out a failing catylytic converter code and then the plastic distribution tube cracks and water and stem inundate the engine area. ever since that the car drives ok but has an intermitent rough idle that drops to 250 rpm from about an 825rpm and then it jumps right back up to warm idle. also i don't think it's a problem till the car is warmed up. i'll double check that though. any ideas?

I'm working on getting the cylinder head gasket removed and replaced with a new gasket. However, in the manual, it says the valves and springs needed to be removed. Since I'm not servicing the valves, do I really need to remove the valves and springs??

I've just purchased a 1992 Honda Accord LX (127,000) it does not leak any oil or any other kind of fluid. It seems to be running fine now. Just wondering with proper maintenance how long should I expect it to last. One more thing is there any way to know for sure it the original engine was replaced? Seller informed me that he replaced original engine 4 years ago, odometer read 265,000 miles. I appreciate any feedback, thank you.
