They make 2 diffrent kinds of antifreeze extended life wich is orange in color and regular antifreeze wich is green in color.....each color can be bought with water added to correct ratio or pure coolant. Ur Chevy same as mine i have a 01 wich is the same thing takes the extended life coolant (orange) i use prestone bought at walmart in a silver jug but if u put a gallon in u have to put a gallon of water . Unless u buy the kind already mixed it will say premix on the jug with a ratio of 50/50. so how ever much u put in make sure u allow for that much water. If u accidently put green antifreeze in it that will cause it to gel and over heat ur engine possible engine damage so make sure of the color. as long as its orange its ok to put in there ....if ur truck has that color if it has green put green ...................the reason for the diff colors is orange is suppose to be animal safe and safe for the enviorment dogs are known to drink coolant if left out and can cause them to dye orange is suppose to be harmless. U get the pic.........one thing though DONT MIX THE COLORS thats all u have to know really.

GM Dex-Cool. It goes in all GM cars and trucks 96 and newer. With exception to the equinox and some early model 95's. 95 was the change over year for GM

anybody is ideal that you'll slightly persist with the parking brake even as the motor vehicle isn't began to stay away from the automatic lights from approaching. besides the undeniable fact that if the motor vehicle is already on you should slightly persist with the parking brake and then turn off the engine and change it back on without delay. in case you're transferring you want to keep in mind that the guidance wheel will lock once you turn off the engine and could no longer launch till the engine is began. i do not propose you attempting this.
