I have a 1996 Chrysler Cirus. My mechanic said that it was very typical for that car to do that but it's annoying can I have it fixed? How much will it cost?

one thing you can try before incuring a multi hundred denero bill is Lucas Oil Treatment for Power Stearing systems,
it;s not a guarantee but for about $5.99 it sometimes works wonders

probably low fluid level in reservoir. or belt needs tightening. if belt it will squeak very loud.

both easy to fix. check fluid first thing.
