definately toyota better mileage and quality

Well Toyota's are much more reliable and better built and have much higher resale values because of it.
Then again, Mitsubishi has the Lancer EVO.
Basically if you aren't buying the Lancer EVO then you are a hell of a lot better off buying a Toyota than you are a Mitsubishi. Even the Lancer EVO is an unreliable piece of poo, but at least it is sexy and fast.
The new Eclipse is a front wheel drive poseur car. Everything else Mitsubishi builds other than their Fuso medium duty trucks, is a piece of garbage.

Toyota is for better, I'd take one, to three Mitsubishi's. If I ever buy another vehicle, it will be a Toyota truck. I can't say how good their cars or, but their trucks are almost bullet prof.

they are both great car manufacturers but I would go with Toyota. They just moved into #3 spot in front of chrysler and give them a few more years and they will pass Ford ang GM. Cars are made great and are built to last for a good price.

ive owned 3 mits and all were crap toyota is great they even have a high end called lexus!!

if it is used it depends on how well it was maintained. new mitsubishi have a longer warranty
