need years and engine size. they have different design

Why do you need to adjust? If not grabbing then the emergency brake shoes are broken. Remove the rear calipers and rotors and inspect the shoes for damage. Usually the rear driver side is the one that brakes more often. Good luck and let me know if this helped or not or e-mail me if you need more help.
