Yea just take the arm back off and drop it down till it is in the right place.

First park wiper motor with wiper transmission disconnected. Then park wiper blades where they are parked when they are parked correctly[this is done with wiper transmission arm disconnected from wiper motor] Then place wiper trans onto motor. GOOD LUCK. This is sort of hard to explain but I did the best I could.

I agree with Scott, you put the crank arm on the motor in the wrong position. DON'T try to move the wiper arms themselves!

check the wiper nuts to make sure they are not over tightened. If they are ok- The car may need a wiper transmission (the gears that they run on).

It sounds a lot like you have the new motor bolted on upside down. If that's not the case you gotta shift the cam on the motor shaft.
