i turn on my heat, and all it lets out is cold air and its so stubborn it wont let out any warm air and its freezing here in saint louis. Is it the thermostat, how much does that cost and where can i fix it at?

It could be that your thermostat has gone out. It's inexpensive and any auto repair shop should be able to do the work.

Yeah it is the thermostat. Thermostats are not expensive, the labor to replace it is. You can get it done at most any garage.

First thing check the water if it its full then check the thermostat.

No coolant flowing thru heater coil,feel of top radiater hose,warm coolant moving,cold not moving,Thermostat located at eng side of top rad. hose.

what does your engine temp gauge say, ?? sounds like the heater valve isnt working, and needs to be replaced, that can be 200 bucks to pay someone, Ebay sells some cheap sometimes,

if you know someone that can check the voltage at the connector to make sure it isnt something else,

Check to see if you have water/coollent in your radiator
