I have heard some scary things about hyundai, and the hyundai warranty. For example, to keep your warranty in effect you have to take the vehicle to hyundai for maintnance, that they are bad about living up to the warranty committments, and some other bad things. If anyone knoiws about any of this, please elaborate, no biases please.

Okay I have a 1978 GMC sierra heavy half 1500. I checked my break fluid a few weeks ago and it was low in the back chamber so I added some. well this morning I checked it again and it was low again in the back chamber. when i added fluid the first time the back breaks started locking in better and the front was not effected.
I checked it because the back were getting weak again. There are no leaks on anything. I cant figure out why the master cylinder is low let alone where it is going.
I have a strong pedal all the time. i just want to know why and where it is going. could the master cylinder be bad? or could there be a super slow leak somewhere?

My girlfriend is stuck in Ohio (many miles away) and doesn't know what's wrong with her car. Her heater went out first, and now she can't exceed 60mph without hearing a clanking noise. She's calling a garage right now, but I'd like second opinions. ANY IDEAS?!?! Thanks!

Ok, so the short story, my friends mom hit my car while backing out of her driveway. We took it down to a shop to estimate the damage, it was around $900. So we took it, bought the parts, and found another thing that was broken. The headlight holder, the one holds the headlight, turnsignal, part of the bumper, and fender. We can't get the fender off unless we get the headlight bracket out. We can't get the headlight out cause we can't find any thing holding it in, and to pull the whole bracket out, we need to pull off the bumper. But, there are screws under the headlight thats impossible to get to, so, how do we get the headlight holder bracket out easily? This is the only thing that is holding us back. Please help.

In 2003 the timing belt on my 1993 Hyundai Excel broke and caused engine damage. The repair shop guy said it caused a craked over head cam shaft and is loosing pressure. He got it to run but not well. Should I get a remanufactured engine or can I get away with rebuilding this one? Please no comments on if i should keep the Excel,it has sentamental value.

I checked the manual and it said it was a problem with the Hydrolic brakes but when I slow down and touch the brakes a certain way the lights go off till the next time I have to apply the brakes. Could this be dangerous or is it because it is so cold and I may have condensation? This is a 92 Acclaim and I do not have
the anti lock brakes.

I have a 2002 Jeep wrangler with over 110,000 miles, sometimes there is a weird sulfur like smell that comes out (no smoke).

Also, I have a 1987 Porsche 928 S4 with 70,000 miles, and when I first start it up, blueish-grey smoke comes out of the tail pipe.

in the gas tank. So they have me this bottle of antifreeze/water remover stuff, they told me to drive the vehicle like 50 miles before noticing improvement. The vehicle still runs like crap and I'm worried. What should I do? What could be wrong? Thanks!

could someone help again. the battery light comes on ,on the dash panel when driving, have charged the battery but it keeps doing it, also if the battery is low on charge could this have an affect on the power steering,is it linked somewhere to the electrics, or could this still be a dodgy pump, cos it came back on, but goes stiff again every now and then.

I got in a car wreck in Oct 25. Insurance final estimates provided to body shop in early November. Estimates indicate 24 days needed for repair. Insurance company paid Body shop. We are sitting here in Jan 20th (more than two months after supplemental estimates are issues) and the car is not ready. Let alone, the manager of the body shop refuses to provide with a written status and estimates for delivery of the car. He also never returns my calls. What kind of recourse do you I have? He is rude and improfessional (when I go to the shop they make me wait and then tell me he is busy). Insurance refuses to intervene (citing the fact that I chose him). To whom should I complain?
I see my car and I see that repairs are being made but I need a final date. I have been renting cars out of pocket since insurance covers only first 30 days. Any advice is greatly appreciated...
