if a throttle body (TBI) fuel pressure is suppose to be 25 and then 0 if not running due to a non pressured return line/replace the 4 wire assembly(idle air control) on the lower part of the passenger side(square connector)behind the tps(throttle position sensor/could also cause it to do this problem/Under hood, center, upper engine area, center of intake manifold, mounted on passenger side of throttle body unit) on the throttle body. if not sure look it up in the parts locator at the library or ask the guy at the parts house to show you one.

First, not knowing your engine size, the fuel pressure should be 55-60 lbs. If well below that, the truck won't start. If the fuel pressure is good, take the vacuum hose off the fuel pressure regulator, and if gas comes out, replace the regulator. Without knowing anything about your truck, that is all I can tell you.

Most of the time I have had this problem it has been the gas filter. You most likely have an inline gas filter somewhere between your gas tank and your carburetor. If you can find that then replace it. Yourself it may cost about $ 15.00. With a mechanic, figure about triple. Go from there.
Hope that this helps you out. Good luck. !

you probably have a bad fuel pressure regulator that is not keeping the gas in the fuel line and it is letting it go back to the tank...do this..when you go to start the truck...turn the key over in the on position and listen for the fuel pump to prime..then turn key back to off position..then turn to on again.. and let the pump prime the line.. then turn key over to where the starter engages...see if it will crank this way..if so the replace the regulator... and get back to me..

There could be holes in your gas lines. Or maybe it got pinched. Pump your gas and see if you either smell gas or see puddles under your car. Also check the seal above your gas tank, it could also be worn out.
