The ABS light came on after the first really cold day that we had (-10f)and hasn't gone off. I am pretty sure there's nothing wrong with the brakes, maybe the sensor is bad?? If I pull the fuse for the antilock breaks will my brakes still function properly?

when i press the accelerator its almost as if there is no power and i can hear a deep gush of what i think is air, also it has started smoking from the exhaust and leaving a black soot like deposit on the ground, drove it today and it seems to have lost a lot of its power, its a 1.6 petrol zetec engine, can anybody please offer some advice, many thanks in advance.

My 98 ford mondeo heater is now only producing luke warm air even when the control is set on full. Is this a thermostate problem or will the whole unit have to be replaced. If possible I want to do this job myself as oposed to taking it to a garage for repairs. Any suggestions would be welcome

Have problem filling up my 99' Mazda Protege's gas tank. Every gas nozzle at every station I use when getting gas will start clicking off, after just a few dollars worth, even when the tank is low. And this will continue every couple dollars thru the entire filling up. What is going on?

how do they get there car to run on that?

an is it enviermentally freindly ?

an say its proably only good for someone who owns manages etc a restaraunt or fast food place etc.

When I turn the ignition, something clicks a bunch of times, I'm assuming that's the starter. It's not the battery because there's enough auxilary(sp) to run the stereo, interior lights, and gauge cluster. Could it be the starter, cylinoid, or maybe I seized the block? Any ideas to what might be wrong would be helpful.

I have a 1994 Nissan Quest minivan, and it just shuts down occasionally when I brake. It may happen from 2-5 times a day, but many days it's just fine.
Any idea what could be the problem?

I put my 05 Nissan Micra in for a service and I have been told that I need new brake pads and discs after only 16500 miles and less than two years. They want to charge me £230 for the pleasure. Is this normal?

Though I was able to eventually get the window up. I was able to get it back in small incriments. I let it sit and than it went up a little and stopoed. I did this like 10 times. The other windows are still work fine. I'm thinking it's a short in the wires and not the motor. What do you think???

Ive been having trouble with my 87 Bronco ll.When I apply the break the car jerks and the rpms drop and shoot back up like its going to cut off.It only does it when Im in high gear coming to a stop.
The pedal is also pushing back when I stop, it kinda jumps up and down like ABS does...but I dont have ABS.I am tring to narrow it down between the Torque converter and break booster.The clunk i hear when I stop says its the TC but the putter in the pedal says vacuum to the break booster.I took it to the dealer who discovered that my EGR tube is cracked and says that this should clear up the problem-NOT.This is not and exhaust problem im dealing with.

I have a 2006 Volkswagen Touareg. I recently bought an OEM navigation unit from EBAY, with an antenna. Basically, I do not get a good signal most of the time. Is there a way I can add a signal booster or a better antenna? Please help.
P.S. I installed the antenna in the dash just below the from windshield.

I know there are alot of questions like this on here but none of the answers apply to me. We've changed everything practically. We've hooked it up to diagnostics everything came up fine. While researching this I noticed there was a recall on my car for turn switches and 4ways.Would that effect it? Could it be my electrical!?! Is this an expensive fix!?!
Please help its snowing and I have no heat! :)
