as long as it is out of a vectra then yea.

any part that is coming from a vectra will fit into another one. as long as the car is the same model

Short answer NO!

GM made so many different boxes for the vectra, you need to get the engine code and vauxhall will tell you exactly what box you need. But 99.9% sure the old 1.7 wont do it. Which is a pity as it was a better engine and box.

not quite as easy as that,have you thought about the gear ratio,its compleatly different on both models.
