can you fit a 200tdi discovery engine on to a 90 landrover gear box?

straight on no probs at all!
did it with a 200tdi -> series 2.
everything just about fits, that's the great thing about rovers

With the correct engineering all combinations can be made to fit. You may not remember these cars but I transposed a Daimler Dart V6 engine into a Rover 2000 and it went like the clappers, it took a bit of modification but it worked.
