in the gas tank. So they have me this bottle of antifreeze/water remover stuff, they told me to drive the vehicle like 50 miles before noticing improvement. The vehicle still runs like crap and I'm worried. What should I do? What could be wrong? Thanks!

That stuff in the bottle won't do much for you, there could be so many things causing rough running. Check basics like plugs, wires, cap and rotor, PCV, air and fuel filter. Do you have any check/service engine light on, if do have it scanned for codes. Also could be poor compression if it's high mileage or could be a blocked converter. Check all vacuum hoses.
Take it to another garage and get a second opinion, if it's running that bad any decent mechanic can find the fault.

Who did you tale it to? Some bum on the street? No real mechanic would make a halfassed guess like that. Take it to a real tuneup shop or an honest dealer.

i would say take it to the nearest Ford Dealership they can help you with a problem like that.
