My car is a 92 camry it has the factory radio with a cd player. I notice some times when i listen to music loud then turn the car off for about 10 mins then try to start the car the battery just goes dead I would have to get a jump start just get it started. I know that the altinator was just replaced about a year and a half ago, and the battery is roughly 8 months old.

I have a 97 Ranger, 4cylinder, 8 plugs. Is it recommended to change all at the same time, or can I just change the primary four on top of motor?

Thanks!

I just bought a 1994 Chrysler New Yorker from the auction yesterday morning, the dealer told me there wasn't anything wrong with it except the brakes and a minor oil leak. The car is quiet and drives smoothly, I know this because I rode around in it all day yesterday. I drove it tonight for the first time today about 10 minutes away .. when I get ready to leave to come back home I turn the car on and it cuts off while in park. I turned it right back on and headed about 5 minutes and it cuts off again but this time the check engine light comes on. It still drove and sounded the same though, so what could possibly be the reason why this is happening? And should I avoid driving it until it is fixed?

Seems like this is a once a year occurance. My rear right tire is currently grinding. I looked into it, and looks like the rotor is going to need to be replaced. If this has happened to all my other tires already, and I get my brakes changed when I am supposed to, could this be some kind of manufacturers defect? Should I tell Toyota about this? What could the problem be that I hear this grinding sound even when not applying the brake? And it's not all the time either. Sometimes I brake, and I dont even hear the grinding at all. I'm very confused. Please help! And how much would something like this cost me to fix?

Thanks,

Steve

Is it expensive to get the intake manifold gasket replaced on a 2002 Grand Am GT? My car only has 70,000 miles on it. Is it worth it to get it fixed? Or trade the car in?

For a while I had been driving with one my front tires being a little low, and with the storm that hit the midwest a few days ago the temperature dropped within a matter of hours. The day after the storm I went to school and in my way back I noticed the tire was completely deflated. Today I changed the tire and went to a nearby gas station to inflate it and see if it could keep the air inside. The tire appears perfectly normal but I'm afraid that is because there is no pressure pushing on it for the air to leak out.

What do you think? Should I put it back? Is it normal for tires to deflate in cold temperatures?

So the people who owned my car before me used a Full Synthetic Oil, and suggested I continue with that. However, I drive a Toyota Corolla, and there is really no need for a full synthetic-- Convice me that a full sythetic oil is the way to go, instead of my typical oil of choice Castrol GTX.

My mom's 2002 Dodge Caravan has only 15,000 miles on it, has been serviced regularly, and at the last service the computer hookup (which cost $63, not at a Dodge dealer) indicated "emissions problem." The repairman said emissions problems are covered forever, not just under a regular warranty, but said we should take it to a Dodge dealer. Is that true? The dealer we contacted indicated that working on the emissions system would not be covered and we would have to pay for any work done. The malfunction indicator is not flashing, just a steady yellow/orange glow.
