I just got new tires 1200 miles ago on my 2002 nissan altima and I feel every imperfection in the road while driving straight. Every time i turn it feels fine but the tires feel like they have a mind of their own while traveling straight and send the feel of every bump through the steering wheel. Its a very unnerving feeling and I wish i could just get tight steering back. Could the tires not be balanced? What are some other possiblities that could be causing this?

Ok this might sound odd, but the information is for a project. And I know nothing about this cars' topic.
What is the average cost for a tire's alignment (you can base it on any experience you've had, no matter the state, but if it's Florida lot better), And average cost of oil change.

Well, I really hope you can help me on this, it's life or death!!!!!!!

my car is a '91 Chevy camaro (IROC) and its a convertible and I had it stolen once, they ripped open the plastic back window, i havent replaced the top yet (but i will) but i want to also reupholster the inside of the car because while i was having some engine work on it, it was sitting there and it got rained on and the fog and mist pretty much messed up the interior. Im thinking of replacing all the fabric on the front seats and back seats as well as the floor. Im not doing anything fancy to it, just regular fabric, Ive never done anything like this before and i dont want to get ripped off, so does anyone know what prices i should be expecting to pay?

PS lots of people tell me to just get rid of it but im emotionally attatched to that car so i dont want to, just incase anyone is going to tell me to do so . . . :)

I own a 1994 SL2 Saturn. Whenever i Come to a stop, or start accelerating from a stop it sounds like a rattling noise from under the car. Its not really loud, but just enought to hear it. I've put higher grade gas in... I've done regular maintaiace for it like coolant flush, oil, getting tires, etc. But im not sure what would make this noise. Sounds like something is loose?

For a 95 Cadillac Eldorado Northstar.
Under the console shifter cover plate I only found a light bulb.
I can see the linkage going into the tranny but no wires.

The bulbs and fuses are all good for the backup lights,
so I'm sure the problem is the switch.
But, I just can't find that darn switch.
