I have a 89 Honda Accord DX, and when its cold outside like early in the morning or after it sets for a while, it feels really weak during the pick up in second gear, not only that but sometimes when I'm downshifting it likes to stay in high rpm's around 3000, I have replaced plugs wires distributor caps and buttons I've changed hoses fuel filters and it still does it everything looks fine in the engine capartment. It still runs and once you get it warmed up it runs ok but still have some high rpm problems, I'm ony but 19 and in college so I can't afford to go into the exstream to fix my car, I only had it but 3 months. I would like to know if anyone can tell me what is wrong with it. Thank you for you're help if you can help me.

When i called they said it starts at $32 but can go up to $100+ depending on the oil you use, is there a difference in the type of oil, are some higher quality and better than others? how does it affect your car? what if you use the basic cheap stuff?

I've got a 1993 Astra 1.4 fuel injection model. All I want to know is should there be a dynamo warning light showing when you turn on the ignition. All that shows on mine is the oil light, the engine management light (that orange thing) and - if it's on - the handbrake light. I was just wondering if the engine management warning light does for the dynamo light as well.
Thanks.

The dent is very small and I'm not really worried about it - but there is a small area where the paint has come away. I want a clear finish spray or paint that I can just use to protect it.

The "engine need service soon" light was on in my vehicle last week. I suspected it was the bad fuel I put in since it turned on immediately after I pumped at Costco. I was busy and did not have a chance to go to my auto shop. Yesterday, I found the warning light was gone. It contradicts my general understanding that once the light is on, you need a device to turn it off. Will it be something like "if you wait long enough, the bad thing will go away by itself"?

I own a 1996 Ford station wagon and I am taking it to the shop on Saturday. I just wanted to get an idea of all the possiblilities of what could be wrong with my car and the cost, so I can know what to expect.

When I drive the car @ a speed of any where from 30-65 mph when it suddenly slows down and I press the gas and it won't accelerate. I have to pull my car over take the key out and restart the car and it starts to drive normally and then it stops on me again. In a 5 min car ride the car stopped on me a total of 3 times. once i restart it, it starts up again with no problems.

I've enquired with Seat head office in the UK and they just said it was something to do with EU standards, and refereed me to my local dealer for more detail. What I want to know is whether BioDiesel will do any damage to the engine.

Ok here's the scoops: I own a Jetta that until recently ran fine. In the past 2 mos. it's been in the shop and I've paid over $2500 in repairs. Now it's basically busted again and the engine needs replacing which will cost $4000. I've had it checked out at several repair shops which all tell the same story. Also I still have $11,000 balance on my auto loan. Is there a feasible way to get out of my loan. I'm a college student and just can't pull strings to get another $4000 for more repairs !!!! Other notes:Since I'm in school I probably couldn't get another auto loan unless I quit school, AGAIN, so I have employment history, paychecks, etc.. Also I don't want a co-signer OR trade my piece of junk Jetta for another car. Basically I'm looking for way out of my loan. After this experience with my Jetta, riding public transportation has been an oasis !!
