Open the cover on the remote there should be a small battery in it. Replace the battery and you should be ok. If that doesn't solve the problem contact the manufacurer of the remote ( the name should be stamped on the backside of the case ) and the should be able to send you a replacement remote. I hope you saved the registeration info as they will need that for a replacement remote if it comes to that, but change the battery before doing anything else.
