i own a repair shop,and this is a common problem with all of the grand -am,s,,its Pontiac's curse i think and also a lot of other gm products,,but once you have them replaced ,they seem to last forever after that,,but i replace a lot of them here at the shop,,mostly on the ones from 93-03 here lately,,but it should be alright after you get it repaired,,good luck with it,i hope this help,s,,,have a good x-mas.

Gm v6 engines have a known problem with intake manifolds leaking coolant.
