I have a 2000 chevy s-10, the flex fuel. I am fairly mechanically inclined, so I'm confedent I can do it if its not tucked away somewhere I can't reach. I don't know where it is, or what kind of sensor I need, or if it is going to be too difficult to do myself...I have a ton of tools, but I don't have a jack or a garage, so I'll have to do it in my driveway, is it possible? Please help me out.

I want to buy some rims for my Saab, its just a 2000 9-5 Sedan, but I don't understand what I could buy to fit my car.

I looked at my tires, it says 215/55R16 93H M+S
6.5 * 16 Wheels...what does the "R16" stand for?! Does it stand for the rim size?! What is the 215/55? What is the 93H?! And what does M+S stand for?!
So what size and kind of rims should I be looking for, if I don't want to re-buy new tires...

I would appreciate any explanations and help...
Thanks

I have an '06 Accord V6 with a 6 speed manual. I am looking into installing a cold air intake and exhaust to give me a little more ooomph. I am not going to race it, I just want a little extra power for personal pleasure when I am on an empty stretch of road. If I am a daily driver that doesn't really rev the engine would this mod kill my car? What should I be careful of?

Got a question for college and need some help:

A petrol injection system *should* hold 60% LP for 1 min after switch off. *But* all pressure is lost within seconds after switch off. Name 2 possible causes and rectifications.

I know 1 cause is a faulty non-return valve in the pump, which you'd replace, but not sure about another cause. Any help would be appreciated

My car was vandalised and there is a patch of burn on the roof about A5 size. Don't think that it has damaged anything other than the paint finish. I know that when ive had to have it resprayed bofore they had to do the whole side as it is hard to match metallic colours but would love to know how much to expect!

go to a technical school? learn from someone who already knows? pick out a book? buy an old junky car and dissect it?

I already have some basic engineering skills (mostly electrical, a bit of mechanical and a bit of civil), so I probably don't need to start from scratch.

I lease a 1998 Buick Regal LS. I've had the car for about a month now and with the exception of a crack in my headgasket, everything's cool. After washing my car one day, while driving down the road, my dash lights went out, then my park lights, then my brake lights(they still come on when I brake but no other time do they come on.) I've taken the car to AUtozone and they said that it's not a fuse. I just don't want to get pulled over by a cop about it so, any advice on this matter would be greatly appreciated. THanx!

I have a male friend who has a nvq level 1 in car mechanics, and now wishes to pursue this kind of career, but he was wondering who offers car mechanic apprenticeships in or around Catterick Garrison/Richmond, North Yorkshire? If he did it by apprenticeship he could learn whilst working. Any ideas?

After research it seems I need a thermostat. My car is a 91 Cavalier with 50,000 miles. When I drive the heat works. But when I let off the gas or am sitting at a light the heat turns cold. Does this mean I need a thermostat or is it something else?

The plastic pieces have been discontinued long ago and the parts place could not help me. Superglue does not work... I have all the stips so far but I am afraid the others may be on there just temperarily. Thank you in advance for your time and consideration.

I am wondering if anyone has any idea why when they redo cars on the show OverHaulin they never replace the side mirrors on the cars when they are finished putting them back together? That just doesn't make any since. Isn't it a law to have side mirrors?
Thank You

I Need to find ways of reducing the fuel economy of this make. I am told that the normal fuel economy for this motor is about 11lts to 13 lts per 100 km. The vehicle is stock standard and not carring any extra weight. It is in good repair/condition and the motor is running smoothly. I am running it on 98 oct fuel and drive with a very light foot. The current fuel economy is for local driving conditions (mums taxi) traveling about 20 km a day with no traffic lights.
I have checked the air filter and it does not seem overly dirty. what would be the cheapest parts to replace in the process of elimination as i can't see the point in spending 1000's of dollars to try and save $10 to $15 per week.

Any feed back would be great

Thanks
Tim
