99 jeep gran wont run backfires ,new crank sen , new cam sen, new coil pack and comp.
fuel good press but week spark. opend wire harn but it is ok on fray or borcken wires. fly wheel ok.
time chaine on time and at tdc. help any ideas.
if you turn came sensor 1/4turn to right will run but back fire all the time let off gas stales out.

the 1999 4.0 has no plug wires just coil pack.

ck the coil pack and make shure the part# matches
have had some with aftermarket part not for the right app year
the car will back fire week spark and wont run.
same as if cam sensor was bad.

make sure you have the spark plug wire going to the right cylinders, and if they are a weak spark, get some new ones. Also could be your timing is off.

when did this problem start? Was it acting up before you put all these parts on? It sounds like you may have installed the camshaft sensor incorrectly. I've put one in before and it can be a little tricky. Just because it drops in doesn't mean it's aligned right. Double check your install with proper instructions on hand.

either it is out of time, or you have the spark plug wires connected wrong
