Need information. Have a 98 Expedition. I need to know if anyone
knows of a retail (auto parts) store in central Ohio where I can buy
left hand jam nuts for tie rod ends. For those who do not know, a
left hand nut is a left hand threaded nut. Need help. Can someone
help?

My check engine light is on. Ford dealership says they're getting an error for the oxygen intake sensors, but the sensors themselfs are fine. So that means there's a short in the wiring. They say that'll take 3 to 5 hours to diagnose which wires are causing the problem, though. Which is going to cost me like $500.

Why that long? If it's getting an oxygen sensor error, wouldn't that mean the wires to and from *those sensors* are the ones that are bad? Why do they have to check all of them?

if i disable the air bag by taking the fuse out will it be legal to install a chilled seat?or how to take the front passenger air bag ?if i m pulled over by police how i can prove it that it in not in workimg order?i think by taking the fuse out will disable all air bags??i got hyundai Sonata y reg 2001 auto

Planning on purchasing a '96 Jeep Cherokee Sport tomorrow as a surprise hunting fishing vehicle for my husband. One of the guys that was friend with previous owner said that the rear end slips sometimes. What does that mean, what do I need to replace? Do I go ahead and have it replaced before i get it for him? A couple of weeks ago my car made this terrible loud screeching sound right when I turned it on. I immediately turned the engine off and when I turned it back on a minute later the sound was gone and my car ran normally. I decided it had something to do with the fact that it was raining and somehow water had gotten in somewhere it wasn't supposed to.

But then last night when I turned my car on it made the same loud screeching sound again. And when I turned off the engine and restarted it everything was fine.

Does anybody have any idea what the problem might be?

First, please keep in mind i know nothing about cars.

My car has had no indication of problems all day. I parked it next to the house so i could vaccumm it. When i went to put it into the parking space, it wouldnt start.

It sounds like it is makeing a kind of grinding noise. the clock flickers. the lights come on. The needles, (temp and whatnot) are fluttery up and down when i try to start it.

The oil was just changed last night. I dont know if that could have done something to it? It worked fine all day so far.

Could someone give me any ideas on what it coud be? And what could be done for it?

Or even something i could try to do to find out what is wrong myself?

I have 06 Honda Odyssey, steering wheel vibrate at 68-70mph. It vibrate a lot when the van increase speed from 65-74mph, but when you decrease from 75 back to 65mph, i don't feed the vibration.
Dealer says need 2 front axels replaced. Do we need to realign the van too? Last time, the mechanic replaced one of the front cv shalf, then 10k miles down the road, the tires not evenly worn out.

There was heavy rain and I drove my car into an intersection where there was a lot of water. I didn't know that the water level was that high until it was too late. My car stalled The water level wasn't high enough to get into the interior of my car, but it was high enough to make it stall. It wasn't left in the deep water for too long. I had help pushing it out of the water after several minutes. I tried to start the car again. The starter cranked, but there is no combustion. I was wondering if any serious damage has been done to the car. It was not flooded up to the windshield like the ones you see in the news. I have an '88 Nissan Pulsar.

We have a 2001 Dodge Durango that gets its yearly maintenance and was just fine all day yesterday.

It was warm yesterday and snowed over night and now it is 27degrees could the cold weather be a factor or did something decided to go wrong right in the middle of the day?
