OK, I am not sure what year this is...it should have an iron duke (2.5 in-line 4cyl) with maybe a holley 1500. May also have a Rochester (junk). Well, my guess is that the EGR is bad. This is an easy fix. Take the vaccum line off of the EGR and put a screw in that vaccum line. That should fix it. May I recommend removing the rochester carb and then take the spacer plate and drill and tap it and then put in a Holley 1500 or a Weber 32/36 (nearly the same). This modification is what gained the Fiero road course notoriety. Good luck.

Fiero's SUCK quit literally. If you search enough you'll find at least 5 have died because of fires and explosines related to the elictrical system. Also you'll probably find the factory recall for said vehicles (of certain years). They look good and are hot lil sports cars. Perhaps TOO hot. (pun intended)

As a mechanic with 15 years of experience, send it to the nearest junkyard OR sell it for whatever you can get!!!!!!!!!!!!!

properly just to permit you recognize, you cant technically run wealthy in a 4 stroke motor because of the fact there is gasoline and air and thats it. in case you advise the exhust smells like oil, then you opt for new piston jewelry (low-fee factors yet no longer exertions)
