92 accord, the transmission light came on, and the spedometer stopped working. wtf is worng with the car

It sounds like the vss has gone bad. The veichel speed sensor
tells the computer how fast the car is going for use in the cruise
control and probley used to compute miles per gallon.
It probley lost the signal from the vss and that turned on your
transmisson lite on your dash.

the spedo cable has spun out. you need to replace the cable. as far as the tranny light could be a number of things, from the oil being low to an internal problem

transmission is gone, it is no longer changing gears right? Happened to my van.
