I heard Autozone doesn't do that anymore, but you can do it by disconnecting the battery for 10 minutes :)

Simply unhook the battery cables for about 10 to 15 minutes. This should reset it. If there is something wrong, a check engine light will come on after the computer runs it own diagnostic check on everything. Hope this helps.

YOUR VEHICLE S/B AND OBD 1 EQP CAR. AS SUCH, TO RESET THE COMPUTER(CHECK ENGINE LIGHT)A SIMPLE RESET OF THE COMPUTER IS DONE BY REMOVAL OF THE POWER SOURCE. REMOVE THE NEG (-) POWER CABLE FROM THE BAT. FOR ONE MIN. THEN REPLACE. IF THE CHECK ENG LIGHT RETURNS A PRO DIAG. IS THE NEXT STEP. REMEMBER THE REASON FOR THE COMPUTER TO SET A CHECK ENG CODE IS ALWAYS AN EMISSION RELATED PROBLEM.

i own a repair shop, and on this one you can take the battery cable off of it for a few minutes, and this should clear it off then put it back on,it should be clear,,if the light or the trouble code re-appears this means you still have a problem with it, good luck i Hope this help,s.
