Rear wh. dr.--move the rears to the front.Cross the fronts to the rear. FWD--move the fronts to the rear--cross the rears to the front.

I rotate front wheel drive car tires this way. The front tires go to the back on the same side, the back tires move to the front and to the opposite side. like the other response make sure the tires are not directional which means they can only rotate in one direction and the normally would have an arrow on them showing the rotation direction.

It's best to rotate radial tyres from right front to right back and
vice versa; left front to left back and vice versa. Do not cross
them.

Front to back is the recommended way. If you want to cross it's OK as long as you make sure the tires are not directional.
