I Need to find ways of reducing the fuel economy of this make. I am told that the normal fuel economy for this motor is about 11lts to 13 lts per 100 km. The vehicle is stock standard and not carring any extra weight. It is in good repair/condition and the motor is running smoothly. I am running it on 98 oct fuel and drive with a very light foot. The current fuel economy is for local driving conditions (mums taxi) traveling about 20 km a day with no traffic lights.
I have checked the air filter and it does not seem overly dirty. what would be the cheapest parts to replace in the process of elimination as i can't see the point in spending 1000's of dollars to try and save $10 to $15 per week.
Any feed back would be great
Thanks
Tim
