I lease a 1998 Buick Regal LS. I've had the car for about a month now and with the exception of a crack in my headgasket, everything's cool. After washing my car one day, while driving down the road, my dash lights went out, then my park lights, then my brake lights(they still come on when I brake but no other time do they come on.) I've taken the car to AUtozone and they said that it's not a fuse. I just don't want to get pulled over by a cop about it so, any advice on this matter would be greatly appreciated. THanx!

could be the Ign switch or the head light switch these are the things you would use the most and do ware out believe it or not a buick dealer or good mechanic should be able toi track it down.

Sounds to me like there is a short somewhere or an exposed wire. You'll have to find the short to fix the problem. You might want to take it to a few mechanic for a estimate first. Electrical work can be a real pain. Also check the battery cable wires make sure they are tight and not corroded

Could be a number of different things, open wire, brake light switch, turn signal switch or the headlamp switch.
