he changed my fluieds my wife went to his house to get the car and she checked so see if the work was done and she called me and said the oil in the engine is a bright red and the tranny fluied is a clean brown color whats this mean

My sister just got an electric wheelchair and whenever i come home to visit, she gets wasted and i drive it around. I was trying to take it up some rocks out back and it bottomed out and something snapped. I managed to still climb the hill in the wheelchair but it pulles to one side and the brakes dont work worth a crap now. are there any repair kits for them or should i just give it back and hope for the best? it still runs but not as fast as it was.

my check engine light has came on about 2 weeks ago, my hubby changed the egr valve and now it is back on again with the same p401 code. Could it be the valve again or should we change the sensor? please help :)

I have a 1995 Ford Contour, and the "check engine" light will not go off. I have changed the oxygen sensor because it was saturated with carbon. I changed the fuel filter, and the air filter. I am not rich, and I am running out of ideas. Can anyone think of something cheap I can try to change next? Or maybe help me rule out what the problem may be? I would greatly appreciate it.

When I first start up my car and drive it, the transmission sticks in 1st gear for a few minutes, then kicks in and runs fine once warmed up. I have chaged the throttle position senser, tranny fluid and filter, and cleaned all electrical connections to the tranny, it still does this. Is this normal for an old age car (1990 Toyota-205k miles) It shifts fine once it is warmed up though....What else can i do?

I just moved from New York City to Palm Springs, California where summer temperatures can hit 110+ for a prolonged period of time. I have heard that I will need to replace the battery in my car every two years or so because of the extreme heat. Is this true? Is there anything else I should know about keeping the car in good condition in such a hot climate?

I own a red toyota pickup, and I have been trying so hard to get the oxidation out of the paint. I have tried all different types of polishes, waxes, chemicals, etc. but can't seem to get it off. It's not too bad, but it's definitely noticeable in the sunlight. Anyone have any advice?
