I own a red toyota pickup, and I have been trying so hard to get the oxidation out of the paint. I have tried all different types of polishes, waxes, chemicals, etc. but can't seem to get it off. It's not too bad, but it's definitely noticeable in the sunlight. Anyone have any advice?

Try a product called "Nu Finish" comes in a orange container, I have had great luck with it on oxidized finishes...it is a lot gentler than using polishing compounds.
I have found it at major auto part stores. For further information check the website.

Have you tried Polishing Compound, or Rubbing Compound? Oxidized paint is what it is made for.

turtle wax makes a good product called "polishing compound" it works really well.i bought a 86 chevy pick-up and had the same problem. i used the compound and brought the shine back.
use it like you are waxing you vehicle make sure to wipe it off before it dries because it is very, very hard to get off.

use a cotton rag dampened with a small volume of acetone (paint thinner) and gently rub paint off. could artwork sturdy. be careful now to not rub too demanding or lengthy or you possibility unfavourable or going via your vehicle's paint besides. a a lot less harsh yet a lot less valuable way should be to attempt making use of rubbing compound meant to fix shine to old paint before waxing.

I like to use Klasse All-In-One to remove red oxidation. The hard pat is teh polishing itself. You can go pay a detailer equiped with a machine polisher. It will be much cheaper than a new paint job.
