Maintenance & Repairs - July 2006

I have a 1995 Ford Contour, and when I hit the brakes when the car is in drive, the front end vibrates. It does not vibrate when I hit the brakes in reverse or neutral. If someone could please help me figure out what the problem is, I would greatly appreciate it.

Vehicle has a 1.8 16 valve DOHC. When idling, it slightly revs up and down and up and down repeatedly. What could be causing this? Please..........reputable mechanics or Hyundai techs answer please. I do believe this is beyond the knowledge of the backyard mechanic.

I just installed a new throttle body spacer and the check engine soon light came on due to it reading a "lean Bank". Can I take the battery loose so that the system compter can learn new perameters? If not, then what can I doo besides buying a $300.00 programmer? Thanks in advance!

Mm.. I was driving and changed the gears TOO fast, (automatic car) and like.. after that the freaking thing is going too fast, even on parking gear the motor works as if I was pressing the gas and it's scary, is wasting too much gas and I don't need to even press the gas to reach highway speeds...

I took it to a mech and they started saying they needed to change like 50 things on the car which didn't make sense to me, 3 friends already told me that I only need to buy a "gas sprint" to replace it.. then other guys told me the gas was stuck.. so I dunno what to do, anyone has an idea of WTF is going on with my car o__0?

Ive taken the tire off and the caliper(brakes). taken the axle nut off as well. removed all 4 bolts holding lug cap to rotor but it still wont come off do i have to remove the whole assembly? Is it a diy job can anyone help?

It knocks a little when driving (at any speed) the faster the speed the faster the nocking. It knocks really hard when i bearly turn the wheel at high speeds, but not at all with sharp low speed turns (like into a driveway or at a stop sign). There might be a little grinding in there also. Please help

checked under the hood, in the trunk, and under the dash without any luck. I am a auto body tech so i have some mechanical abilities. Asked the question earlier and got only vague responses. It isn't near the fuse box, behind either headlight , or on the firewall. I would appreciate any help.

i have a red laser color 99 mustang, around the bottom panel in front of the wheel well,(on the back tire) i have about 6 chips about the size of an eraser on a pencil, they have all rusted, but they have been there at least 3 years, i want to fix them but dont know where to begin, if i'm going to fix them myself, please help! from beginning fix to end, i dont know where to begin, but can do the work myself, i dont want to paint the whole area, just where the chips are.... do i need to sand down first or how can i fix? thanks much

Every thing fuel related is replaced other than the Fuel injection. It tries to start as long as I am cranking the key, I can even rev the motor. As soon as I let the key go back to the on position the motor dies but the instrument panel stays lit so I dont think It could be the ignition could It?
