i have an 88 buick regal i put fuel injector cleaner in it idles fine when?

i drive down the road it sputters and stalls

The cleaner has probably loosened some material that is now clogging the fuel filter or the injector itself.

I guess that was cheaper than the earlier suggestion.

check for vacum leaks check all hoses and egr valve maybe stuck open.
