I have a cab-over camper for my pick-up truck. I now have a dead battery that is a RV/Marine battery. However, since I use this thing on a very limited basis, could I use an inexpensive car battery instead of the RV type? After all, isn't a battery a battery?

Two weeks ago I noticed that my car was having problems while in idle. It sounded like it was trying to die. My check engine light went on, I started to ask around, took and got it scanned and everyone told me that my oxygen sensor had gone bad (inluding the guy who performed the scan). I took my car to a friend, and we found that the PCV pipes had started going bad. We replaced them and cleaned out my PCV Valve with carb cleaner. My car works great now, no more problems with it in idle or while driving, however, I've noticed that my gas mileage has gone down by about 90 miles per tank. Could it be the air filter? I just put a new one in only 4,000 miles ago. Maybe it needs to be cleaned? Is it my PCV Valve? Should I replace the entire thing? Or was it my oxygen sensor? I didn't think they could affect how well the engine runs.

Going through a little under a quarter tank a day has shot my checkbook.

Ok I have a blazer and my service engine soon light stays on all the time. And me and my husband has tried everything. And when they hook it up to machines they say there is nothing wrong with it. It drives me crazy. Does anyone else have this problem and what could I do.

The car won't stay running when boosted. I originally thought it was the alternator, but considering it went dead while sitting in storage rather than while being used, I wonder if it just needs a new battery. How can I determine this without towing to a garage or buying a new battery it might not need?

I took my van in for repairs on the windshield wipers and brakes. The wipers don;t work at all still and the brakes are making a funny noise now. If I take it back again to be done right should I have to pay for labour again? Is there a law backing me up?

I just bought this van and do not have a manual to it. I am trying to find out where/how to put on my brights. I know how to flash them with the left column, but they won't stay like that unless I pull the column toward me and not let go. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Considered that it might just be a short causing it to light up. Don't have manual available to see exactly what it signifies. Break pads are not old. Any ideas?
