No that is not expected at all. Our shuttle driver receives tips all the time, but he tries his best to refuse them. Any customers that ask us (Service Advisors) if they are to be tipping the shuttle driver, our answer is always no.

no but I would welcome it if you want to :-) (used to do that when I first became a mechanic at the rural dealer I worked at)
most I ever got was the change off a hundred for going install a battery in a customers car 2 towns away (and that equaled about $5)

No one ever tips our driver. I think it would be a nice jester, but you don't HAVE too. That's why it's courtesy driver, the company pays him to drive you home. It's not MUST but do it if you'd like :)
