How can I find out what rear end my toyota truck has, can I find it's specs somewhere using its vin number?

On the backside of the pumpkin, there will be an aluminum, or steel tag stamped with the information.
It's probably a "spicer"

There should be a metal tag attached to the rearend somewhere. The vin doesn't have that information in it.
