Ok I have a blazer and my service engine soon light stays on all the time. And me and my husband has tried everything. And when they hook it up to machines they say there is nothing wrong with it. It drives me crazy. Does anyone else have this problem and what could I do.

If the check engine light is on, there IS a problem with the system. It may or may not be an actual engine problem. It could be a problem with the engine computer, the instrument problem itself, a system ground issue or a body control module, transmission issue, depending on what year Blazer it is. If the shop you’re taking it to is telling you there is no problem they are either incompetent or lazy. Either way I would find someone who understands the system to address the issue. It is important to address the issue. If the light is on all the time and the engine does develop a serious problem, you may not know it and cause further damage. It may also be a situation that is causing the engine, or transmission, to operate at less than optimum performance. That too can be expensive, in terms of accelerated wear and fuel mileage.
Just my opinion, I could be wrong.

If you have had it checked out and there is nothing wrong, you need to have someone at the dealer reset it. Had the same problem with a GM product. One guy told me to put a piece of electrical tape over the light if it bothered me.
