Maintenance & Repairs - July 2006

Maybe it's just me, but I feel like my A/C on my 2002 mazda protege isn't getting cold enough. Is this a sign that there is something else wrong with my car? As far as I know my car is in good condition. Is there anything I can do to make it blast colder air and if so how much will it cost? It does start to get a little colder if I wait awhile and blast the air on the highest level and when I drive on the freeway and I can feel the air from the vents blow a little bit harder. I just want my car to blow colder air without having to put it on the highest level. How do I do that?

I’ve got a 95 5.0 and I just moved to AZ. And the weather is so hot that my car doesn’t fun too long before the temp. raise excessively to the point where I wont even drive the car. I know there could be many reasons as to why this is happening. I just got my A.C fixed and between that and my move to AZ. My car starts to over heat. I’ve got pretty much every aftermarket part you could buy for this car other then a supercharger. In my glove box I’ve got a Best Product fan controller that seems to adjust the radiator fan speed. I can’t seem to find anything on the net about this fan controller let alone find any informtion on how to adjust the fan speed. Any pointers out there that would help me fix this problem would be awesome! Thank you all in advance for your help!

ill explain is it true that the dealers (nissan toyota chev etc)
dont pay there mechancs well so if the good ones want more money they either start there own shops or work for the one that will pay the most im trying to prove a point here

I'm asking because its butt f'n ugly and i want it off!!! Its been on my truck since i bought it over a year and a half ago...its a bumper hitch. It looks like the bolt is rusted to the ball...so i was wondering if anyone knew a way to maybe cut it off or something...

I have a 99 chevy malibu. Whenever I stop at a light I put my car is Park. Recently I have noticed that when I put my car in park and later when the light goes green and I put my car from Park to Drive, the car jerks one time and then moves forward. It has happened 3-5 times. But today the car ran smoothly and I didnt try to put my car in park everytime I stopped at the light. I had my mechanic look at it and he said there is a transmission problem. Is that true? I dont mind showing it to a transmission shop, but I am sure they will try to rip me off.

Any advice or do you know what may be wrong??

The 1990 suburban has a 350 and is throttle body. I do get an engine check light. I read in the haynes manual about how to clear out the codes by disconnecting the battery. I then drove the car again and got an engine light. I took a jumper wire and connected it to the two terminals on the computer trouble code output and read the flash codes. It told me that the TPS needed checked and that I had a lean exhaust. This engine has been rebuilt and all the sensors are brand new.
