Do you drive to the car wash or do you wash at home?? which is better??

I like professional hand wash beause you give jobs to people and its more fun to watch people clean your car.
Umm...also because its fun!...i dont know...

A lot of people think that hand washing is better than Automatic car washing but this is not the case. Automatic car washes are now equipped with what's called "soft cloth" which is a combination of cotton and microfibre. These car washes will not harm your car's paint in any way. Another thing that most people don't know is that Automatic car washes do not harm the environment and have the best cleaning chemicals for your car. Even auto stores do not have what the Automatic car washes have. If you choose to do it by hand , well... most people don't know about the minerals in the water which will dull the clear coat in time. The old technology of car washes with brushes are out. there aren't many of them these days except for the ones at the gas stations. Remember, dish washing and or clothing detergent will harm your car's finish. I see some people using them and even some hand washing businesses. Automatic washes cannot use them due to the fact that the machinery is chemical specific and not profitable. The chemical manufacturers for the automatic wash industry sells in quantity and will not sell to the public or hand wash businesses this is why no one will have the good stuff. The chemicals were divised by automakers that help create the best stuff for cars that utilize the Automatic car washes. I hope this helps...

I only hand wash my car whenever Im cleaning the inside as well. If the inside is already clean, I just go to the car wash but hand washing your car is actually the best way in my opinion.

Washing at home of course...it's like detailing it but from the outside. I love it in hot summer days. But I drive to the car was when I don't have time to wash it at home. Also, the kids have a blast.....

Since it's not feasible for me to wash el coche at home, I go to the $4 wash & hand-dry place. It's a great deal. Sure beats washing the car at home or at those DIY ones.

I wash mine at work. We take care of a car wash, but it's a do-it-yourselfer. I get my tokens for free cause I work there and I do the job myself. It's much cheaper that way. If I take it anywhere though, it'll be Sparkle Car Wash, cause they do a good job. But I haven't been there since I got my van a year ago.

if you're trying to meet people and get some good sunshine and exercise, hand wash. If you just want the car clean, go to the car wash and drop your three bucks.

Since we people in Britain are not allowed to wash at home .. i take it to hand car wash .. they do good job

Hand wash all the way. No one touches my baby but me. It's more convenient and quicker at the car wash, but they could damage your car and thats on you.
